Namibia’s Westair Group has signed a letter of intent to purchase four 2000-vintage Embraer ERJ-135ERs from Air France’s regional carrier Hop!. Westair will acquire the aircraft with leases to Namibia's flag carrier Air Namibia attached. The units will continue to be operated by Air Namibia under unchanged conditions. 

The first three aircraft, MSNs 145243, 145335 and 145347 were initially leased for a five-year period in February 2011. The aircraft were then extended by another two years to 2018. Another aircraft, MSN 145252 was leased by Regional (now Hop) to Air Namibia in April 2012 for a period of five years. The aircraft lease agreement was extended by one year to match the other three leases.
