Garuda Indonesia | Islamic loan | 05-14 | $100m | Transaction

This is a $100 million Musyarakah-based Islamic financing facility from Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII), through its Maybank subsidiary. The financing has a tenor of three years and the parties claim it is the largest bilateral Islamic financing undertaken in Indonesia, according to a joint statement. The finance will be used to fund the airline's operations and expansion plans.
