AFG Aviation Ireland, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, has placed a pair of Airbus A319 aircraft with its African carrier, Air Cote d’Ivoire.
Both aircraft are subject to a finance leasing structure set up with Investec Bank Limited (South Africa), acting through its corporate and institutional banking division, as lender.
AFG Aviation Ireland acquired the A319s earlier this month from a US investor consortium managed by Crestone Air Partners. At the time, Airfinance Journal disclosed that the A319 were on lease to the Abidjan-based operator.
Both aircraft were previously operated by Avianca (Colombia).
