Hong Kong SAR-based China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) has sold two additional Boeing 737-700 aircraft to USA-based FTAI Aviation.
The new contract is the second in a week between the parties and increaswa the number of 737-700s sold from CALC to FTAI Aviation to three aircraft, all older airframes built in 2004-2006 that used to fly for China Southern Airlines.
CALC acquired the 737-700s from the Chinese state-controlled carrier in exchange for supplying new aircraft.
