Lender Investec Aviation Finance has provided senior financing of $30 million to Titan Aircraft Investments (TAI) for a 2002-vintage Boeing 747-400F on lease to US carrier Atlas Air.
This marks Investec’s first transaction with TAI, the dry leasing joint venture between Titan Aviation Leasing, which is a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide, and Bain Capital.
Investec said the deal reflects the high levels of demand it is seeing for aviation financing following a strong 2023.
