Singapore Airlines | Bond issue | 03-24 | $500m

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has priced a new $500 million notes offering due 2034 at 5.25%.

Citigroup Global Markets Singapore and DBS Bank are the joint global coordinators and Citigroup, DBS, HSBC’s Singapore branch and J.P. Morgan Securities Asia are the joint lead managers.

The notes will be issued at an issue price of 99.646% of their principal amount and in denominations of $200,000 and in higher integral multiples of $1,000.

The bonds will bear interest at a fixed rate of 5.25% per annum payable semi-annually in arrears. They are expected to be issued on 21 March 2024 and expected to mature on 21 March 2034.

The net proceeds will be used for aircraft purchases and aircraft related payments, and general corporate or working capital purposes, including refinancing of existing borrowings.
