Wizz Air Group is in the market with expressions of interest covering some of next year’s A321neo deliveries for the estimated $1.35 billion.

Wizz Air Hungary, on behalf of the Wizz Air Group, is seeking expressions of interest from financial institutions and leasing companies for up to 21 new Airbus A321neos.

The carrier is looking at financial lease financing structures.

Deliveries are due between the first quarter and the end of the third quarter of 2025.

Proposals should be received by mid-March 2024, source say as Wizz Air aims to sign letters of intent by the end of this month and secure the necessary approvals by 30 April 2024. 

Wizz Air plans to close transaction documentation by the end of May.
