Avolon | A/c sale (RFP) | 03-24 | 16xA/c

 Avolon is in the market with a 16-aircraft portfolio, including 14 narrowbody aircraft and two widebodies.

The average age of the portfolio is 13.5 years, according to sources. Average lease remaining term is five years.

Avolon approached parties last month and was due to consider the first round of bids late in February. A second round of bids are due this month.

The portfolio includes five different asset types, predominantly Airbus aircraft.
Two Airbus A330s, including one A330-200 and one A330-300, are on lease to Boliviana de Aviacion and Air Transat.

The portfolio includes five mid-life Boeing 737-800s with leases attached to European carriers Turkish Airlines, Corendon Airlines, Sun Express and Bluebird Airways.

One A319 is under a long-term lease agreement to a American Airlines while the remaining eight A320s are with operators in Asia (Pelita Air and Super Air Jet), Europe (Aerovista, Avion Express and Heston Airlines) and South America (Avianca).
