Lessors Avolon and Aercap are looking at trading opportunities for mid-life aircraft after both reached the market recently with portfolios for sale. 

Aercap’s 10-aircraft portfolio for sale includes a mix of narrowbody and widebody aircraft, but also three converted freighters from its acquisition of GECAS in the final quarter of 2021.

The aircraft are managed on behalf of the aircraft leasing and financing platform Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing.

Last November Airfinance Journal reported that one Airbus A350-1000 leased to Qatar Airways was among the portfolio offered by Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing. The mid-life portfolio also included two A320s on lease to Mexican carrier Volaris, one 737-800 leased to China Southern Airlines and one A321 with Eva Airways.

This time, the 10-aircraft Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing portfolio has another A350-1000 leased to Qatar Airways, one 737-800 leased to Malaysia Airlines and three 737-800BCFs on lease to ASL Airlines and West Atlantic.

The lessor is also asking for proposals on new narrowbody technology aircraft: three A321neos leased to TAP Portugal and Indigo and one A220-300 on lease to Breeze Airways.
