Easyjet has issued the first series of bonds under their new Euro medium-term note (EMTN) programme.

The new Euro medium-term note (EMTN) programme is seeking to raise up to £4 billion ($5 billion). Easyjet and Easyjet FinCo are the issuers of the programme. Easyjet Airline Company (EACL) is the guarantor. Societe Generale CIB is acting as arranger. Dealers include Societe Generale, Barclays Bank and Barclays Bank Ireland, BofA Securities and Merrill Lynch International. Citicorp Trustee Company is acting as trustee and Citibank, London branch as issuing and principle paying agent. Clifford Chance is advising the issuers as to English and Dutch law, Allen & Overy is representing the dealers and trustee. Notes may be distributed by way of private or public placement and in each case on a syndicated or non-syndicated basis. The new EMTN programme is rated (P)Baa2 (stable outlook) by Moody's and BBB (positive outlook) by S&P.
