Japan Airlines is looking to sell its Boeing 777-300ER fleet as it takes delivery of its Airbus A350-1000 batch, sources confirm.
The Tokyo-based carrier recently approached the market for divesting its 777-300ERs.
The carrier is seeking proposals for the phase out of 13 777-300ER powered by General Electric GE90-115B engines via direct sales and sale and leasebacks.
Japan Airlines says it is considering proposals for the contract minimum five sales and a maximum 13 units by the end of March 2024.
