LATAM | Operating lease | 03-24 | 5xA320

Hong Kong SAR’s China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) is moving former Viva Air Colombia aircraft to the LATAM stable of carriers.

LATAM is a new customer for CALC.

Update: China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) has completed the repossession and remarketing of three of five Airbus A320s from now-defunct Viva Air Colombia to LATAM.

CALC had five A320s with Viva Air Colombia.

The first three aircraft are owned by China Aircraft Global, a $1.4 billion aircraft investment vehicle managed by CALC, deputy chief executive officer Winnie Liu said in a note.

The remaining two aircraft are expected to be delivered to LATAM this month.

Update: In March 2024 China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) has completed the repossessions, checks and subsequent transfers of five young Airbus A320neo aircraft from now-defunct Viva Air to the LATAM stable of airlines.
