Spirit Airlines | Sale leaseback | 04-24 | $235m (est.) | 5xA320neo

US carrier Spirit Airlines has mandated Aircraft Leasing & Management (ALM) for the financing of five Airbus A320neo aircraft scheduled to deliver between 2023 and 2024.

ALM will acquire the aircraft under sale and leaseback agreements on behalf of the Fuyo Lease Group.

The US carrier becomes a new customer for ALM.

Update: April 2024 Aircraft Leasing & Management (ALM), the wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Fuyo General Lease (FGL), has delivered an Airbus A320neo to Spirit Airlines, the US low-cost carrier.

The aircraft is the fifth Spirit A320neo equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines to join the ALM managed portfolio and is the final aircraft to be delivered in 2024 as part of a five-aircraft sale and leaseback (SLB) transaction announced last year.
