Guiyang-based Colorful Guizhou Airlines has agreed to lease four Airbus A320neo aircraft GECAS, with deliveries beginning in late 2019 and continuing into 2020.
These will be the airline's maiden narrowbodies.
Until now, Colorful Guizhou has operated regional aircraft only. At press time, the airline's fleet comprised nine Embraer E190s.
Of those, three are on the airline's balance sheet, four are sourced from CMB Financial Leasing and another pair is on lease from CMIG Aviation Capital.
Update: Third aircraft was delivered in November 2020.
