Air Macau has agreed to lease three Airbus A320neos from BOC Aviation, according to a statement from the latter.
The Macanese flag carrier will take delivery of the new-generation aircraft, which are powered by Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan engines, in the first half of 2019.
A BOC Aviation spokesperson says the aircraft is on operating lease. He declines to disclose the specific lease tenor, though says BOC Aviation typically aims for long-term leases of around 12 years. He adds that BOC did not use external legal counsel on the transaction.
This is the first deal between Air Macau and BOC Aviation.
