Einn Volant Aircraft Leasing (EVAL) has purchased and leased back four Airbus A220-300s with Breeze Airways.
Breeze chief financial officer Trent Porter tells Airfinance Journal that the start-up carrier has agreed to 12-year operating leases on the four aircraft.
The aircraft will be delivered in 2022 and 2023.
EVAL is a joint venture leasing platform formed by GECAS and Canadian pension fund manager Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ).
In 2019 GECAS agreed to purchase and lease back nine A220-300s from the US carrier under its previous name Moxy.
Separately, Voyager Aviation has signed an agreement to purchase and lease back five Airbus A220-300s with Breeze Airways.
The aircraft will be delivered to the US start-up from the first quarter of 2022 to the first quarter of 2023.
Breeze has 60 A220s on order and plans to begin services in mid-2021.
