Exclusive: SMBC AC agrees SLB for new A320neo customer
Peach Aviation will take its first Airbus A320neo under a sale and leaseback with SMBC Aviation Capital (SMBC AC), the ANAHD-owned low-cost carrier has told Airfinance Journal.
The Japanese carrier's first A320neo is currently undergoing its flight test programme out of Airbus’s Toulouse facilities.
Delivery is expected over the coming weeks, says Peach.
According to Airbus’s latest fleet data, Peach has eight A320neos and two A321neos on direct order from the OEM.
Peach also operates 34 A320s but is thinning that fleet amid Covid-19 and incoming A320neo-family deliveries.
