Embraer needs clear vision: AFJ North America 2020
Embraer will have to find their way going forward following the collapse of their joint venture plans with Boeing, Avitas senior vice president Adam Pilarski believes.
Talking about the failure of the joint venture with Boeing, Pilarski believes the Brazilian manufacturer can survive on its own.
“They can but they definitely will have to start from scratch. It is a wonderful company with great products,” he tells delegates at the Airfinance Journal North America 2020 virtual conference.
“Over their last few years, their heart was set on what they would do with Boeing. Not only on their product fit but also on resources and engineering.”
Pilarski admits he does not know what is next for Embraer.
“Their leaders are no longer there and they have a lot of problems and will need a clear vision going forward.”
