Valued for their independence and transparency, our awards represent the market-leading deals rated on innovation, timing, size, complexity, ability to overcome obstacles and setting new industry benchmarks.
We have made several changes to the awards this year to streamline the process. For the first time, we are using an online system for submissions and judging.
You can access the AFJ China Awards site here to submit a deal and learn more about the awards process.
We have also expanded the external judging panel to six leading executives in the air finance sector (see below), better reflecting the diversity of the industry:
- Harvey Lau, former partner at Baker McKenzie,
- Peter Huijbers, director at PH Aviation Asia Ltd
- Sandra Chen, managing director at Fontainburg Aviation Capital,
- Norm Liu, senior advisor at ICBC Leasing, former chief executive officer of GECAS,
- Simon Collins, partner White & Case, and
- Gao Feng, senior partner Grandall Law Firm.
