Aer Lingus issues RFP

Aer Lingus has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for seven  Airbus A321neo LRs, the airline confirms.

The spokesperson for the airline would not comment on any more specific details relating to the RFP, but it is understood that the aircraft will be leased.

The Irish flag carrier has an order for nine A350-900s and two A330-300s, according to Airfinance Journal’s Fleets. The data says that the airline has a fleet of 48 aircraft, including 34 A320s, four A330-200s, six A330-300s, three A321s and one Boeing 757-200.
