Airfinance Journal can exclusively reveal that Hong Kong SAR-based China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) has agreed a new leasing partnership with United Airlines after the US carrier found itself desperate for Airbus A321neo capacity amid the Boeing 737 Max 10 certification delay.
Slated for deliveries from 2025, AFJ understands that subject to final closing CALC plans to deliver 10 A321neos to United.
These would be on top of the 35 A321neo leases United confirmed in its first-quarter earnings last week, and that AFJ had identified as coming from ACG and SMBC AC.
