Russian aircraft manufacturer Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) has hit back at claims by Russia’s state auditor, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, that its Superjet 100 programme could close due to a lack of funds.
The auditor stated that manufacturers Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and engine maker Saturn have invested too much into the project and as a result now lack the necessary funds for engine and aircraft production.
