Terina Golfinos, head of structured export finance, ING, says the Air France ECA deal should not be the exception to the rule

When Air France closed the first export credit loan for a home market airline in December, it was announced as an exception.

But the deal has led to discussions about the viability of the home market rule.

“Air France should not be the exception. Everyone deserves a fair chance at accessing export credit agency (ECA) financing," says Terina Golfinos, ING. “Why not open it up to everyone?”
