Patrick Kennedy passed away suddenly in early August while in Dublin. Kennedy, who led Aircastle's Singapore office, a well regarded and liked industry veteran, was a long-time fixture in the Asian aircraft leasing scene.
Kennedy was born in Hong Kong in 1964, the only son of a Malaysian mother and Irish father. He attended school in Penang and Blackrock College in Dublin before completing his studies at University College Dublin. After graduating, Patrick worked two years for a plantation company in Monrovia, Liberia.
