Falko, BAE Systems’ leasing unit which was acquired by Fortress Group last month, has spoken about plans to grow the business.
At a briefing in London, new CEO Jeremy Barnes said that Falko will initially focus on profitably running down the existing portfolio of about 143 aircraft, which mostly consists of BAE146 and Avro RJ aircraft.
However, the company is also working to acquire portfolios of regional jets within the next six to 12 months.
