The Indonesian carrier has signed a memorandum of understanding with Embraer for up to 30 E190s.

Sriwijaya Air, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, has signed an agreement for 20 Embraer 190 jets and options for 10 additional aircraft. At list prices, the deal could be worth $1.28 billion if all purchase rights are exercised.
The aircraft will be fitted with 100 seats in a single-class configuration to replace some of its narrowbodies and to expand its fleet.
