Avolon focuses on Middle East and Asia

The Irish lessor, which has leased 12 Airbus and 14 Boeing aircraft to nine airlines in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, sees growth potential in these regions.

Avolon has placed 26 narrowbodies in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. The lessor placed 12 Airbus A320s and 14 Boeing 737-800s with nine customers.

Over 51% of the company’s aircraft are on lease to carriers in Asia and the Middle East and North Africa and Avolon says it wants to establish itself as a leading lessor in these two regions.
