Crowded market for new deliveries, bankers say

Bankers at the 13th European Airfinance Conference in Dublin react positively to the new Aircraft Sector Understanding, but say market is crowded for new aircraft deliveries.

As new rules on export credit financing come into effect next month, lenders at the Dublin Airfinance Conference welcome higher ECA pricing.

However, bankers told delegates that the market for new deliveries is overcrowded, while the secondary market still lacks support. For new entrants like the A320neo, pricing will be higher.
