Air Lease Corporation (ALC), a new aircraft leasing company, is offering 55 million shares – worth $1.1 billion – to institutional buyers. Former CEO of International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), Steven Udvar-Hazy, established the lessor, which is based in Delaware, in 2010 after leaving his previous position at ILFC in February.
