Walter Skowronski leaves Boeing Capital after 10 years with the company.

Walter Skowronski, Boeing’s senior vice-president and Boeing Capital’s president since November 2003, retired in December. Skowronski joined Boeing as senior vice-president of finance and treasurer in 1999.
Mike Cave has taken over as Boeing Capital’s president and Scott Scherer will be senior vice-president for strategic regulatory policy. Tim Myers will succeed Scherer as head of Aircraft Financial Services.
“We’ve navigated some of the most turbulent market conditions, so Walt is retiring when we avoided the meltdowns we were facing and are on a threshold of a great new challenge of creating the new normal world of aircraft finance,” says Kostya Zolotusky, Boeing Capital’s managing director.
Before joining Boeing Skowronski had been at Lockheed Martin, the US aerospace and defence company based in Maryland, since 1995. He held several roles at the company, including vice-president and treasurer and vice-president of investor relations....
