Private equity company Texas Pacific Group might join AMR in minority stake in JAL.

American Airlines's parent, AMR, may invest in struggling Japanese airline, JAL. AMR's chief financial officer, Thomas Horton, told reporters that the company might team up with private equity group Texas Pacific Group (TPG) to make an investment.
