Last year at the Latin America Airfinance Conference an airline executive asked an export credit agency panel if the agencies would finance predelivery payments (PDP). One year on it is looking unlikely that there will be a solution soon.
Paul Walsh, business manager, aerospace, Export Credit Guarantees Department, said today at this year's Latin America Airfinance conference, that guaranteeing PDP payments is a different risk.
