Bombardier feels pinch of business jet downturn

Bombardier Aerospace has released its second quarter results and said a fall-off in business jet deliveries accounted for a drop in revenues

Bombardier Aerospace said business jet cancellations and a difficult economic environment continue to take their toll as the manufacturer reported its second quarter results.
Revenues for the quarter ending July 31 were $2.4 billion, compared to $2.5 billion for the equivalent period last year.
The Canada-based manufacturer said a deteriorating environment for the business jet sector accounted in large part for the drop in revenues.
