Exclusive: ICBC Leasing deals

The leasing subsidiary of ICBC has agreed an LOI with Sichuan Airlines– which took delivery of the first Chinese assembled A320 yesterday – for six sale/leaseback deals. It is also understood the leasing company closed its first transaction with a non-Chinese airline for a 747 freighter.

ICBC Leasing has agreed a letter of intent (LOI) with Sichuan Airlines for six sale/leaseback deals for A320 family aircraft. Besides the LOI inked between ICBC Leasing and Sichuan, the airline agreed to name the first aircraft delivered from Tianjin as ICBC. The naming ceremony took place yesterday in the capital of Sichuan province Chengdu.
