Aeroflot bids for the Czech national carrier as it looks to expand its footprint in Europe

Aeroflot has joined the race to buy state-owned carrier Czech Airlines (CSA).
Russia’s largest airline submitted documents for tender to the Czech ministry of finance today.
“Areoflot submitted the application in conjunction with a Czech legal entity fully controlled by the airline,” the airline said.
