Paul Ng joins Stephenson Harwood

After moving to London 16 years ago, the “King of LCCs” returns to Singapore as global head of Stephenson Harwood’s aviation team.

Stephenson Harwood has appointed Paul Ng as global head of aviation. Paul joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was head of the Asia asset finance and aviation practice. He will start at Stephenson Harwood on March 19, working from the firm’s offices in both Singapore and China.

“Paul’s reputation as a first class aviation lawyer will greatly strengthen and complement our already expanding global and Asian aviation practice which in recent years has seen impressive growth,” says Sunil Gadhia, chief executive at Stephenson Harwood.

Paul was at Freshfields for over ten years, the first seven of which was spent in the UK before moving to Hong Kong. Having also worked in Singapore, Shanghai and Beijing, he has extensive knowledge of the Asian markets.

He has developed a reputation for expertise in various fields, chief among which is his work in the budget and low cost/fares airline arena...
