Riyaz Peermohammed, one of the most highly regarded airline finance managers, is leaving his role of vice-president treasury at Emirates to become chief financial officer at IndiGo, the start-up Indian low-cost carrier.
One of his first roles will be arranging financing the airline's 100 A320 order. The first aircraft is set for July, when IndiGo is due to launch.
