It has been a good summer in Germany. The country won much praise for the way it hosted the Football World Cup – not just for the efficiency, but also for the welcome that foreign fans received – and the national team performed with distinction. After several tough years, the German economy, the world's third largest, is also performing pretty well. This is good news for airlines. German banks have always been key lenders to the sector and, for the most part, they are still committed....
