Aviation through and through – Crispin Maunder
If you believe that lessors have aviation in their blood, then Crispin Maunder's circulation would be a perfect example.
The Chairman and CEO of Lease Corporation International first entered the industry through an aeronautical engineering degree from Imperial College, London.
He then joined Court Line Aviation, then a leading UK charter carrier, as a management trainee where his brief included operations, administration and engineering. He was promoted to head up the new marketing division. Maunder then moved to the marketing department of British Aircraft Corporation in 1974 and then on to Autair, the helicopter operator and aircraft trader, where he served as Commercial Manager for the Middle East and Africa, representing various aircraft...
