How was 2007 for you?
It has been a positive year for us. A strong business environment has led to good passenger loads on all routes, with very good sales levels. We have been very successful with our upper-class and premium economy product.
We have seen the benefit of a number of different services, such as our clubhouse at Heathrow, the introduction of a new premium economy seat and we have just introduced a new drive-through check-in, which promises limousine to lounge in 10 minutes.
The redevelopment of our check-in area at terminal 3 Heathrow, which opens in December, will also make air travel a more pleasurable experience for all our passengers. The broader question is: with the credit crunch and the increasing price of fuel, how long this benign environment will continue?
