AerCap increases available funding to $2.2 billion

AerCap has increased its available funding by $338 million, to $2.2 billion.
AerVenture, the lessor's joint venture with LoadAir, a start-up aviation venture in Kuwait, closed a $269.2 million facility with HSH Nordbank to finance the predelivery payments for 37 new A320-family aircraft under a forward order from Airbus. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery between November 2009 and May 2011. The aircraft are part of an order, placed in December 2005, for 70 new A320-family aircraft. The funding requirements for all remaining predelivery payments of AerVenture have been met with this transaction.
