  • Airclaims has increased its team by four. Darcy Beamer-Downie joins as general counsel, after six years at Clyde & Co. During this time she was involved in litigation on behalf of airlines, MROs and insurers.
    Beamer-Downie will head up Airclaims's legal services team. In the past she has lectured extensively on space tourism and has advised various space interests.
    Cameron Hogg, Jonathan Salmon and Miguel Uz have also joined Airclaims as aviation surveyors. Hogg is a licensed aircraft engineer, with more than 20 years' aviation experience, while Salmon has experience working with a variety of aircraft types ­– general aviation and executive jets, in particular.

    Uz has 19 years' experience in the aviation industry and is a specialist in engine maintenance and overhaul. Maples and Calder has set up an asset finance...
