- Alafco's Abulqassim Abdulghaffar has been promoted to executive vice-president. He was previously senior vice-president business development and treasury. In this role Abdulghaffar was involved in the Kuwaiti leasing and finance company's short- and long-term growth planning.
Abdulghaffar joined Alafco in 2000. He had worked previously with Bahrain's Gulf Air Company, where he held various senior management positions in corporate planning and treasury during 24 years with the company.
He has been chairman of Sky Chefs/GCC, the airline catering company, and a member of the board of Jet Airways...
